There are two higher education centres: The Extramural studies consulting centre of the Cracow University of Science and Technology Mining Department (AGH), offering the following faculties: Engineering and Environmental Protection, Mining, and Geo-engineering. The Jaworzno Didactic Centre of Wojciech Korfanty Katowice School of Economics, offering the following faculties: Management, Administration, and Sociology.
There are 6 complexes of senior secondary schools:
In 6 technical secondary schools, students obtain vocational qualifications and a technician certificate in: construction, mechanics, environmental protection, electronics, electrics, economics, hotel industry, nutrition and household, telecommunications, underground mining, sales, IT, logistics, and mechanics;
In 4 specialised secondary schools, students obtain education choosing from 4 vocational courses in: social, managing information, service and business, economics and administration;
In 3 vocational schools, students obtain education attending multi-vocational classes and courses for cooks in small catering businesses.
In the complex of the PKE vocational schools [The Southern Poland Power Company] under the auspices of Jaworzno III Power Plant, the technical secondary school in Jaworzno educates students in the following professions: technician electrician, electronic technician, mechatronic technician. The specialised secondary school offers student courses in managing information.
In Jaworzno, there are also several schools for adults where the course participants obtain knowledge in the following professions: electronics technician, underground miner, economics technician, retail technician, IT technician, work safety technician, cook, and retailer.
