Jaworzno active town

TRANSPORT ACCESSIBILITY:
Jaworzno lies in the east of the Śląskie Voivodeship where the borders of Śląskie and Małopolskie Voivodeships meet. It is one of the largest town in Poland; its area is approximately 153km2. The town is located at the junction of important road, rail and air transportation routes. The following national roads run across Jaworzno: Gdańsk – Cieszyn E 75, Warszawa – Bytom DK 79, (its Katowice - Kraków section is period A4 motorway) joining the western and eastern border of the country and providing an excellent connection with the international airports of Kraków-Balice (50 km) and Katowice-Pyrzowice (50 km).The Jaworzno-Szczakowa railway junction is the hub of important rail routes.
